Consumer and Enterprise Network Strategies and Communications

One of our major Tier 1 telco partners needed a set of hands-on experiences that would explain complex mobile technologies and services to a wide audience, including executives, developers, and the average user. By narrowing in on the most compelling use cases of LTE Broadcast technology — those that put human beings at the center — we were able to create a 3D projection-mapped mobile demo that featured how in-stadium experiences will be enhanced by the technology.

Intelligent Network Demos

A Tier 1 Partner’s Mobility team asked us to create an experience that would deliver on the idea that our phone numbers will eventually be portable. Virtually any device with a UI will be able to access our mobile ID, allowing us to select the ideal device for any situation. We created a hands-on demo that allowed users to experience how a phone can share its identity with a watch, a vehicle, or even a hotel room — effectively turning each into an alternate version of a user’s phone.

Federated ID and Authentication

Dojo led the user experience and design teams for a Tier 1 carrier’s federated ID implementation. On the surface a login is simple, behind the scenes there is a myriad of systems and capabilities that come into play in order to provide a seamless experience that transitions between services that are both internal and external to the carrier’s customer experience.

Consumer Design Language System

The Dojo team has worked with multiple Tier 1 carriers to design and develop their Consumer Design Language System (CDLS) to serve as a core design reference for all their mobility products and services. The CDLS was delivered in app form and included interactive styles, animation guides, and designer tools for implementation.

Operators don’t always sell their own services as you would like. Driving up numbers for trial, adoption, engagement, and retention is not helped by the fact that the product itself does not captivate enough interest from subscribers. Most US customers have multiple cloud accounts already, most of them are free, so there is a fair amount of apathy to overcome. We give Operator product marketers new ideas, programs, creative — anything to simulate incremental customer KPIs above the current growth trajectory. This requires a fanatical devotion to sweating the details of customer segments, journeys and messaging across different channels, and analytic reporting. More importantly, we have to cajole our Operator partners to try new initiatives and influence their channel partners with new ideas and creativity.

Multiple Account Management Tools, UX and Implementation

The holy grail of account management requires applications that bring frictionless account management to any device the user may have, be it iOS, Android, tablet, or handset. The Dojo team drove the concept, designed user and visual experiences for multiple applications, and prototyped and tested their complete ecosystems with target audiences to help our clients revolutionize desired self-serve experiences and ultimately raise their net promoter scores and drive user attach through better customer obsession.
