IoT and Data Implementations
How much data is available in the equipment we use for team and individual sports and how do we unlock that through network and cloud services for new experiences and growth opportunities? Moneyball inspired conversations around how data could be used to performance optimize teams and individual performance, but the emergence of fantasy sports has developed into a multi-billion dollar economy on its own. The Dojo team has worked extensively with sports leagues who haven’t always traditionally tracked data the same way that Baseball has, as well as major hardware, software, cloud, and other IoT providers to realize data capture and monetization in entirely new arenas.
Visualizing “The Connected Self”
Dojo has worked with major consumer brand firms and cloud services providers to design and conduct usability testing around how IoT sensors and data can be used to inform how everyday people workout and track their progress, Lululemon’s acquisition of Mirror is just one example of how IoT is not only being used to extend a brand but how platforms are being developed to create “open ecosystems” that can fuel levels of co-collaboration and co-participation that were previously unimaginable. These days brands are no longer just logos on clothing or shoes, they are driving entire engagement models where countless people can connect and experience health and fitness in real-time, wherever and whenever.
Sports and Gaming Re-Imagined. IOT powered Casinos, Resorts and Events Centers
The Dojo team has worked closely with multiple device OEM’s, Platform Companies, and Tier 1 Carriers to identify and define how fans can interact and collaborate in immersive digital gaming experiences across a complete IoT device, network, or integrated data portfolio. Find out how Dojo can help your customers experience more by breaking the 4th wall and getting involved on the field or at the gaming table using AR/VR/MR, omnichannel digital applications, or other new form factors in immersive design and development.
Portland Athletic & Outdoor Ecosystem
Dojo worked with the Portland Development Commission to bring their Athletic and Outdoor industry cluster to life. PDC’s goal was a translation of a static poster graphic into something their constituents could engage with, helping them see connections, growth, and opportunity in the state’s vital outdoor sector. PDC introduced the ecosystem at a hands-on annual event and has since used it to help companies thinking about relocating to the state understand what Oregon has to offer.
